Ikebana Workshop

Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arranging — a mindful practice of composing flowers, branches, and leaves into balanced, intentional forms.

This two-session workshop combines handbuilding and floral composition. In the first session, you’ll build your own ceramic vase from clay. Two weeks later, once your vase has been glazed and fired at Casa Gira, you’ll return to learn the principles of ikebana and arrange your own free-style composition to place inside it. A piece made to live in your home, from vessel to flowers.

All materials are provided, including flowers.
